When you’re building, you’re doing the work…. it’s one of the biggest topics of conversation, stress, amusement and delay in real estate projects. Moroccan workers are creative – but not like us – stubborn and surprising. Some – a minority – have a tendency to take extra pay by buying inferior materials. Most don’t have the same notions of geometry as we do. In short, “if you want to build well, keep an eye on your building site”.

Unless an exemption is granted, noisy work may not be carried out at night or on Sundays. The law on noise is supposed to protect local residents. But it is difficult to enforce.
